Challenge: Design a dedicated mobile app and complementary website focused on creating social good for your hometown/city.
Background: Amidst the escalating crime rate in Sumter, SC, particularly among the younger generations, I perceive an opportunity to address the issue proactively. By inspiring and guiding the youth towards a more promising path, we can lay the foundation for a future brimming with opportunities and steer them away from a life entangled in crime.

Homepage:
Designing this sketching exercise my thoughts were to create a concept that is similar to the original mobile app, with the same feel, but have elements that are responsive.
Find Club/Church page:
I had a narrow path when I designed these sketches. I knew that I wanted a search and filter function, and came up with the perfect one on the first try. This concept was excellent as it offered information plus location to create a great user experience.
About page:
I designed this page with the intention to keep the page similar to its counterpart but still offering an easy-to-navigate page. This page offers intel and a seamless user experience with its familiar navigation and asymmetrical style page layout.
Message Coach page:
The idea behind this concept was to make an organized layout for users. making it a familiar design for users to understand how to navigate this page.

BEFORE USABILITY TEST
Theme
1: Users enjoyed that the About page had a lot of information about the church of choice, but were looking for information about the coach as well.
2: Users noticed that on the Find Club page that it seemed as if there was only a title or very little information about the church/club of choice.
3: Users enjoyed the look of the messaging board and would love to see it designed and finalized with the same feel as the wireframe.
4: Users didn’t like the navigation for the home button on the messaging board

AFTER USABILITY TEST
Insight
1: In response to user feedback, I included a dedicated section informing them about the coach, enhancing their experience and decision-making.
2: Taking into account user feedback regarding the limited information on the Find Church/Club page, I addressed this concern by incorporating a Location and an Image feature, enriching the user experience and providing a more comprehensive overview.
3: Recognizing the unanimous appreciation for the message board among all users, I preserved its essence in the final design, striving to maintain its familiarity and seamless integration for a consistently positive user experience.
4: Noticing the lack of familiarity with the navigation on the messaging board I incorporated some familiar features to improve the user flow by taking this common pain point and replacing it with a more user-friendly navigation.
